The department was established in 1995 With a B.Sc in Electronics and communication science.

DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES OF DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONIC SCIENCE  

E-Technovat-2010 was conducted by the Department of Electronic Science on 26-2-2010.The programme was presided over by Prof.R.Dhanasekaran .Ph.D .,Anna University(CRYSTAL GROWTH CENTRE).He delivered a lecture on Growth of Advanced Electronic material.Paper Presentation was conducted on the following topics.
